Select the System option from the View recovery points by drop down list.
Boot the server from the Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 Symantec Recovery Disk that was created in Step 3.
Ensure that the disks do not have any partitions or volumes present (This is a bare metal recovery).
Uninstall Symantec Backup exec System Recovery 2010 (reboot required).
Confirm the backup options and wait for the backup to complete.
When prompted for options, click the Advanced button and select Perform full VSS backup.
(This will need to be accessible from the Secondary via a DHCP address).
Some systems, notably Dell, may also have additional drives which it is advised to include in the backup.
Check the Show Hidden Drives check box and for Windows 2008 or 2008 R2 also select the System Reserved drive.
Select the C: drive (or the drive on which the operating system is installed) and all other drives that the application may be using.

Choose 60 Trial Activation after the reboot.

This will be needed at the restore step on the Secondary.
